The Morningside Club, which is affiliated to the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS), was formed in 1952 to “preserve and further the practice of traditional Scottish Country Dances and modern dances of merit in the traditional style”.
The Morningside Club members are a friendly group, who enjoy dancing to live music. New members and visitors are always welcome. We dance 10 dances per night, one of which is taught. Crib sheets are provided on the website to assist in your enjoyment of the evening.
All dances are called and walked through at least once.
Dancers are expected to know the basic steps and figures of Scottish Country Dancing.
